RecyclifAI Technologies has developed a computer vision-based and AI-equipped smart sorting solution for plastic recycling units. Powered by machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) technology, the solution integrates a 3D area-scan camera to analyze the objects being sorted, combining both hardware and software. Designed for flexibility, the company has allowed clients to seamlessly integrate this system software into their existing waste management processes, thereby extending its application across a broad range of systems. This smart solution has provided consistent sorting performance, enhanced efficiency, and reduced operational expenses for recycling units and materials recovery facilities (MRFs). RecyclifAI Technologies’ solution has harnessed key technologies such as AI, ML, and machine vision to revolutionize the sorting process. The AI algorithms have enabled sorting machines to process up to 160 items per minute with consistent accuracy, vastly outperforming manual labor. Meanwhile, ML has trained the system software to recognize patterns within the sorting process, refining its application library over time to improve its performance. Additionally, the integration of machine vision has accelerated image processing, offering fast and precise identification of waste products, which has improved the overall efficiency and profitability of recycling operations.

Mr. Rashid founded Skyros Trading Limited and Trims Solution, both focusing on the apparel industry, serving as Managing Director/CEO and generating annual turnovers of around $10-12 million and $4.0-5.0 million, respectively. As the Chief Executive Officer, he focuses on advancing AI-driven recycling solutions and promoting sustainable practices within the industry.

Mr. Adeel Ahmed is a serial entrepreneur with over 14 years of management experience in strategic business management, business development, and financial management. He began his education at Play House Boys Secondary School and NCR-CET, later earning a Diploma in Business from Waltham Forest College. Mr. Ahmed started his career as an Assistant Manager at Al Rehman Silk before successfully launching Adeel Traders, a business specializing in plastic molding compounds, in 2014. As the Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Ahmed defines and implements sales and commercial strategies to drive success in the Canadian market. His strong analytical and interpersonal skills, along with his entrepreneurial background, position him as a valuable asset to the company, ready to lead its commercial efforts in a dynamic environment.
